My kid built the rover tank form first and spent an hour customizing faces on the color screen before we even got outside. It drives fine on grass and gravel, though the emoji screen is honestly the star of the whole kit.

My kid spent a whole rainy afternoon building the tank version and then drove it around the backyard chasing the dog. Switching to the robotic arm form took maybe ten minutes, and now he's trying to teach it to pick up his LEGO bricks.

The emoji display on the Rover is what sold my daughter on it, she loves swapping faces after each coding session. Took us about an hour to build the tank version, and the instructions were mostly clear though a couple steps had me second-guessing. Solid kit for the price.
