Focus Comic organiseerde een indrukwekkend community outreach-evenement in het IDEA-museum, waar kunstwerken van studenten werden gegraveerd op metalen kaarten met een xTool F1 lasergraveermachine.
Took my daughter to the museum event and the line for the laser station was worth the wait. Our metal card came out crisp, and the machine was so quick I barely finished my coffee before it was done. It's sitting on our shelf now.
The line moved fast even with a crowd, and my son's sketch came out crisp on the metal card in under a minute. I figured a laser that small would struggle with fine lines, but it caught every detail of his drawing.
Watching my daughter's doodle get engraved onto a metal card in under a minute was the highlight of our museum trip. The laser handled those fine lines better than I expected, and she hasn't stopped showing the card to everyone since.
