Apr. 4-6
Minneapolis Convention Center, MN 55403, US
In the digital playground of the NAEA conference, art educators designed personalized key chains on site and experienced the application of laser technology in artistic creation.
I went in thinking the keychain station was just a gimmick, but designing my own on-site was actually the highlight of day two. Watching my little vector file get cut into wood in under a minute made the whole laser tech session click for my classroom.
I spent way too long at the key chain design station and honestly could have stayed all afternoon. Watching my sketch come out of the laser cutter exactly how I drew it was the highlight of the whole Minneapolis trip.
The hands-on laser engraving station was the highlight of my weekend in Minneapolis. I walked in curious and left with a keychain I actually use every day. Three days of sessions flew by.
