Engage your classroom in foundational engineering concepts with MakeX Robot Kit for Competition and Activity. The MakeX Robot Kit makes engaging with mechanical and structural engineering hands-on, fun, and accessible to aspiring engineers of all abilities.
Bought this for our after-school robotics club and the kids picked up the mechanical builds way faster than I expected. The structural pieces snap together solidly, so nothing wobbles apart mid-competition like our old set did.
My students actually argue over whose turn it is to rebuild the arm mechanism, which says a lot. The structural pieces snap together tight enough that nothing wobbles during a run.
The building instructions walk you through the mechanical concepts step by step, which made it way easier to explain gear ratios to my after-school group. Everything snapped together solidly and survived a full afternoon of middle schoolers rebuilding it.
