Wayne County Fairgrounds, Wooster OH, US
At Wayne County Maker Faire, the Sears think[box] handed out 180 Yoshi kits, delighting guests with Yoshi cutouts and a live xTool P2 CO2 laser cutter demo.
Watching that CO2 laser cutter slice through the Yoshi kits in real time was the highlight of the fairgrounds for me. My nephew got to take one of the 180 cutouts home and hasn't put it down since.
My kid walked away with a Yoshi cutout and wouldn't put it down the whole ride home. Watching the P2 laser cutter slice through wood in real time was the highlight for me. Worth the drive to Wooster for anyone curious about making stuff.
We spent almost an hour at the laser cutter booth watching it etch designs, and my son walked away with a Yoshi cutout he hasn't put down since. Getting one of the 180 kits made the whole trip worth it.
