    My kid spent a whole afternoon turning the mBot into the mantis build and barely needed my help. The included instructions walk you through each of the three configurations step by step, which made the frog one way less frustrating than I expected.

    The beetle configuration is easier to build than I expected and my kid figured it out mostly on his own. The included instructions actually made sense, which is rare with these add-on kits. Now he keeps trying to invent his own crazy frog variant.
