Bought this for my 10-year-old and she had it driving around the living room within an hour using the gamepad mode. The sensors actually work well enough that it stops before hitting the couch, which surprised me for the price. Bluetooth pairing was instant on my phone too.
I was worried the aluminum frame would feel flimsy, but this thing has survived being knocked off the table twice already. Pairing it with my phone over Bluetooth took maybe a minute, and now my son drives it around the kitchen while learning to code.
My 9-year-old figured out the drag-and-drop coding in one afternoon and now she's got it doing laps around the kitchen table. The ultrasonic sensor actually stops it before it hits the wall, which saved my baseboards more than once. Bluetooth pairing from my phone was painless too.
