The cube-sorting arena mode turned out to be the surprise hit in our house — my daughter races to pile the blocks before the timer runs out, and she's genuinely sharper with her hand-eye coordination after a few weeks. Setup took maybe ten minutes and it's held up fine to daily use.
My kid actually asks to play with this instead of his tablet now, which I did not see coming. The sort-and-pile cube battles get surprisingly competitive, and I've caught myself playing a round or two after he goes to bed.
